Rise above Songtext / Lyric

All this information is about to shut down my ventilation,
just see the world in different shades of gray.
And all these philosophies, telling me how i should be,
make me feel i should just drop out of the game.
And the truth may well be in the cyberspace,
but we get blinded by all the options that we get.
And we seem to forget that the world is turning now
Just as it did before they invented the internet. All of these tabloids and all of this news,
only tell us the truth that they would like us to choose.
All these values they're trying to sell,
Trying to tell how we've suppose to be. We got to rise above of all this information
Or we just fall for the bluffs without a confirmation.
We got to rise above of all these false agitations.
I don't really need reality TV
to show me just how my live should be.

All this entertainment, is it waste of time or time well spent?!
I think the answer is something in between.
We all need a brainwash from time to time,
but i think we know we've crossed the line,
when we pledge our legions to the TV screen.

All of these tabloids and all of this news,
only give us an option they would like us to choose.
And even if you see it on tv it don't make it true,
just more easy to chew, I'm telling you

We got to rise above all this information
