This cold conception
(Holds us hypnotized under oppression)
Are we ever to reveal? The secrets that lay beyond
The behold of eternity
The secrets of the quietus
In which I seek solace, that's mine.

Hear my call
For in the final chapter of my fall
What is feared the most in the end will be embraced
For it shan't be seen as punishment but instead your fate
Afoot the gates of a kingdom unknown

The beginning and the end
Come together as one
For they are the same

The ancient belief calculated and then conceived
Defiling our own human birth
Telling you what to believe

As we pass through this gauntlet of existence

Will this storm precede the calm?

To peace

Or are we to befriend, this darkness
that smothers our flames
We are as one, we are the quietus
