Earl Eugene Scruggs (* 6. Januar 1924 bei Shelby, North Carolina; † 28. März 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee[1]) war ein US-amerikanischer Bluegrass-Musiker. Scruggs galt als Virtuose auf dem Banjo und spielte eine entscheidende Rolle in der Entwicklung des Bluegrass.
